Pregnancy ~ Infancy ~ Toddlers

Whenever we see a woman who's pregnant, let's pray for the protection of the mother, father, and child from every strategy of the enemy of all souls... That a passion for God be woven into every fiber of their beings as each child is knit together in their mother's womb... That people of all future generations yet unborn praise the LORD (Ps. 102:18)... For all women who are pregnant - that they value the life within them... That the mother and father be deeply involved in nurturing their child as he or she grows... That their family be holy... That as John the Baptist, may all children recognize the Presence of God, even from the womb (Luke 1:41)...
Anyone who's given birth to a child understands how painful the process can be. And so it is with prayer. Jesus suffered the physical agony to provide spiritual re-birth for all children. We're as a spiritual mother, who through travailing and prevailing prayer, labor to bring more children into the Kingdom - vast, innumerable multitudes who are only one prayer of repentance from light and life, and the enemy will execute every deceptive strategy in his power to keep them groping in his dark womb. They have no power on their own. Just as we fight against abortion, we must fight against their eternal agony. It's a war we must fight for our families, our friends, our enemies, and those we'll never meet this side of heaven. Some of us may never visit the nations throughout the earth, but from the chambers of our hearts, we can have global influence, participating in the delivery of vast multitudes of souls.
While placing a bonnet on their heads,
May their minds be protected
from every attempt by the enemy of all souls
to sow seeds of deception...
May their thoughts be pure and holy and true...
May they have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16) ...
There had been little sleep for many days and nights following Jeremiah's unplanned C-section delivery. As with most babies, he entered the world with a voracious appetite. Kristina and I talked about anything and everything, trying to stay awake through his nursing sessions, which seemed to follow one immediately after the other. Then it hit me, that's how desperately hungry for God I want to be - throughout every day and waking up throughout every night, demanding to be fed by His Word and fueled by His Presence, just as a newborn baby - dependently and desperately crying out for Him. This is what I want for my family and yours.
Father God,
please grant us an insatiable craving -
as newborn babes that desperately cry out in hunger for You,
Your Word, Your Will, Your Wisdom, Your World, and holiness.
May our lives be driven and nurtured by that desire
so that we may be mature and meet the spiritual and physical needs
 of countless others (I Pet. 2:2) ...
"Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk,
so that by it you may grow up in your salvation"...
2 Timothy 2:20-21 NKJV
Like newborn babies,
may they always crave pure spiritual milk,
growing in wisdom and stature and favor
with God and man,
strong in their salvation so that
they may feed others.
May their food - our food - always be
to do Your Will (Luke 2:52, I Pet. 2:2, John 4:34) ...
When teaching children the parts of the body, teach them prayer inspirations. Children are the most dangerous pray-ers - their innocence and undaunted faith are very powerful against the enemy. Equipping them to pray for themselves will give them extra protection against satan's dark and dangerous strategies against them and those within the realm of their influence.

When we develop the page, "Fearfully and Wonderfully," we will paste the link here. Until then, what inspirations can you think of for tongue, hands, feet, ears, eyes, and more?
As I called their names, Kristina and Melissa Ann darted swiftly in another direction, running when I needed to change their diapers. It was frustrating, especially when I wanted to spend time cuddling them or had a list of things to accomplish. But how often do I run from God when He's calling my name, wanting to clean me up? And how often do I run when He calls me to spend time with Him, to pray for someone, or to put feet on my faith? We live in dangerous times that call for dangerous prayers. Even if Christ does not return for many years, our lives are like a shadow, and we cannot know how many more opportunities we'll have to share the Power and Love of Christ with a world so dark and desperate.
incline our hearts to respond with swift obedience
whenever You call our names...
Kristina taught me to pray for the children's purity while changing each diaper.
May their food - our food -
always be to do Your Will, O God (John 4:34)...
O Lord, our Lord,
how excellent is Your name in all the earth,
Who have set Your glory above the heavens!
Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants
You have ordained strength,
Because of Your enemies,
That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit him?
For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
You have made him to have dominion
over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,
All sheep and oxen— Even the beasts of the field,
The birds of the air, and the fish of the sea
That pass through the paths of the seas.
O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!
