Your Thoughts are not our thoughts,
nor are Your Ways like our ways...
As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are Your Ways higher than our ways
and Your Thoughts higher
than our thoughts (Is. 55:8-9)...
As we call to You, please answer,
showing us great and wonderful things
that we do not yet know. (Jer. 33:3)...
All your children will be taught by the Lord,
and great will be their peace.
Isaiah 54:13 NIV

Ask God to expose any darkness in books or curriculum you need to be aware of that may cause your children to fall away from Him... Pray that your children and their friends never compromise their beliefs, and that they serve as salt and light, boldly declaring the Truth in love at all times... That they be quickened to discern the difference between what is holy and what is profane, and to faithfully pursue holiness... Pray for revival in the classrooms... And may these prayers resonate before the Throne of God until His Work and Will are complete here on earth.
While packing lunchboxes, we can pray,
May my children and grandchildren's favorite food
be to do Your holy and sovereign Will (John 4:34).
Write scriptures and messages of love and encouragement on lunch napkins or pack them in backpacks. Make the most of every opportunity. One day while packing lunches for the grandkids, I noted that the front pouches were stuffed with napkins - the kids had saved Kristina's notes to them there. If our children do not feel our love, they will respond to those who show an interest in their lives, which can be very destructive. Yes, let's make the most of every opportunity.
As I drove Kristina to school each morning, I had her read a devotional aloud from Our Daily Bread. We did this when her friends rode with us, too. Matthew prays for their children before leaving for work. Kristina prays for them before they get out of the car at school. Verbally affirming and praying for them as you part ways each morning will protect them and prepare them to face the challenges of each day.

Father God,
may they moment by moment
surrender the details of their destinies
for You to write the stories of their lives.
May they live their lives pursuing You with all
their hearts and minds and souls and strengths,
living for The Day and just to hear You say,
"Well done, My precious one."
Ultimately, we have to give an account to our King for how we handle the seeds planted into the hearts of His children; some need to be removed, others need to be cultivated. We must always ask what happened at school - what they studied, conversations with friends, about things the teacher said... With homework and all activities, we must be involved and intentional. If we're not there, they will talk to their friends who do not have the life experience to guide them, or they'll spend that time on a technology device. The enemy is seeking every opportunity to separate them from us, every opportunity to diminish their God-honoring potentials, every opportunity to claim their souls, every opportunity to destroy them. We must be vigilant and diligent. May we be found faithful.
Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined],
be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil,
prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry],
seeking someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8 AMP
Whenever you see their schoolbooks, laptops, digital devices, be prompted to pray for your children's classmates, teachers, and all in authority over them, all who make curricula and other decisions. Ask God to quickly expose any inaccurate or abhorrent teachings, and that parents and teachers unite and stand against such. Pray that dark philosophies are clearly exposed and rejected. And may these prayers resonate before the Throne of God until His Work and Will are complete here on earth.
Whenever we see a school or school bus, let's pray for students, teachers, support staff, curricula... That parents be involved in the details of their children's educational activities... Public, private, and homeschoolers... For all who direct educational policy within the political realm... State laws and law makers... Textbook writers and selection panels... Distinction among Christian and home educators... That all be inspired to diligently seek Truth within the deepest part of their beings (Ps. 51:6)... That all darkness be exposed and crushed...
please brood over every building
and every heart that occupies it.
May all be irresistibly drawn to You,
Your Word, and Your Will...
That they all pursue God, His Wisdom, His Will, His Truth, never compromising their faith when instructing their students... That they serve as salt and light, boldly declaring the Truth in love... That their prayers be dangerous, forceful, and effective at all times and in every circumstance...
