Children are a gift from the LORD;
they are a reward from him.
Psalm 127:3 NLT
Guard what God has entrusted to you.
1 Timothy 6:20 NLT
It's believed David was no older than fifteen when Samuel anointed him king over Israel. We cannot possibly comprehend the magnitude of our children's potentials (see the word "potent"), but God does. And that's why we cannot undertake this responsibility effectively without Him. We must walk closely - close enough to hear Him whisper in a world filled with too many noisy distractions. It's our duty as mothers and fathers to protect these treasures, His children, from every wicked strategy of the devil to diminish their potent potential or to destroy them. Prayerfully seek the scriptures and prayerfully stand guard. Here, we can do this together. We're praying with you and for you.

When We Rise Up
When We Lie Down

Train up a Child

Whenever we see any child, may we be moved to pray for all children everywhere. A quick glance at our culture exposes children of all ages starving for knowledge of and experience with God. They demand our faithful attention because they have God’s faithful attention… If we awake in the night:
“Arise, cry aloud in the night at the beginning of the night watches;
pour out your heart like water before the presence of the LORD;
lift up your hands to Him for the life of your little ones
who are faint because of hunger at the head of every street.”
Lamentations 2:19 NASB
And may we be continually prompted to ask God to mobilize intercessors throughout the nations to pray for these precious treasures.
